CASA MÚSICA DEL CARIBE is a luxurious private waterfront home on beautiful Isla Mujeres, Mexico. Featuring two spacious master suites, each with its own private balcony, and 2.5 bathrooms, the home is ideally located in one of the island’s most desirable areas.
Our goal is to provide guests with the comfort, privacy, and thoughtful touches of a luxury island retreat—without the luxury price tag.
Located dramatically on a cliff just 60 feet from the Caribbean Sea, Casa Música del Caribe offers breathtaking views and exceptional privacy. The centerpiece is a custom-designed, saltwater infinity pool—heated by both solar and heat pump systems—with a signature music-note design on the pool floor and six powerful whirlpool jets.
Enjoy an outdoor shower with a beautiful stone sink, fire up the gas grill for dinner al fresco, and take in unobstructed sunrise and sunset views. Inside, the home features a huge gourmet kitchen, perfect for everything from a quick breakfast to a special vacation dinner.
Our casa is conveniently located near Centro (downtown), where you’ll find many of Isla Mujeres’ best restaurants, shops, and local attractions. Yet, thanks to its spacious private setting, the property feels like your own secluded slice of paradise.
When you’re ready for a change of scenery from the Caribbean views and your private pool, Playa Norte is just a 5–7 minute walk away. With its soft white sand and beautiful turquoise water, it’s one of the world’s most famous beaches and a must-see during your stay.
Don’t feel like cooking? Give the gourmet kitchen the night off and take an easy 5–7 minute walk to Centro, where you’ll find an impressive variety of restaurants offering everything from casual local favorites to memorable dining experiences.
Prefer to stay in? Private chefs are available for hire and can come right to the casa to prepare a special meal for you. We’re happy to provide recommendations if you’re interested.
Of course, if you do feel inspired to cook, the casa has a fully equipped gourmet kitchen that rivals many local restaurants. It even includes an oven—a feature that can be surprisingly rare on the island—along with dishes, utensils, cookware, basic spices, and everyday cooking essentials.
And after a full day of sunshine, snorkeling, diving, sightseeing, or simply relaxing by the pool, you don’t even have to leave the house for dinner. Local restaurant delivery is available, allowing you to enjoy dishes from a variety of island restaurants right at the casa for a small delivery fee.

Maybe a quiet night in with a private gourmet dinner for two is the perfect way to celebrate a special occasion. With several balconies—all offering beautiful views—you can enjoy an intimate dinner prepared and served just for you by a private chef.
Poolside dining is another romantic option, with the soothing sound of Caribbean waves providing all the music you need. After sunset, our custom-designed music-note lights add a soft, relaxing glow to the exterior of the home, creating a beautiful atmosphere while still preserving your complete privacy.
Each private master bedroom is designed for comfort, relaxation, and privacy, with air conditioning and its own private balcony furnished with lounge chairs and a table for two. We have taken great care to anticipate your needs, with custom-designed cedar closets, dressers, blackout curtains (no, the room does NOT get totally dark) , a TV with Apple TV and Netflix, a DVD player, in-room safe, private bath with a spacious walk-in shower, comfortable sitting area, and custom Turkish bathrobes featuring the Casa Música del Caribe logo.
The Sunrise Master Suite features an extra-large Tempur-Pedic king bed and a spacious 13′ x 21′ private balcony overlooking the brilliant blue Caribbean Sea, infinity-edge pool, and pool deck. Enjoy your morning coffee while watching for dolphins, relax beneath the stars with a glass of wine, or savor a romantic dinner prepared by your own private chef while the Caribbean breeze drifts by.
The Sunset Master Suite features an oversized Tempur-Pedic queen bed and a private 9′ x 21′ balcony overlooking the Bay of Cancun. From the balcony—and from the rooftop—you can enjoy some truly spectacular sunsets. One especially memorable sunset inspired a talented local artist to recreate the scene as a beautiful mural on the wall of the Sunset Master Suite, bringing a little piece of Isla Mujeres’ natural beauty indoors.
Guests are sometimes surprised by the value and assume they are renting just a unit or suite. In fact, you will have the ENTIRE HOME to yourselves—complete with a gourmet kitchen and your own very private waterfront, heat-pump-heated saltwater infinity pool with six Jacuzzi jets.
One of our guests’ favorite features is the finished rooftop entertainment area, complete with a bar and spectacular 360-degree views of Isla Mujeres. From here, you can take in unobstructed sunrises, magnificent sunsets, and unforgettable moonrises, all while listening to the Caribbean waves crashing below.
And yes—the photos really do look this beautiful. The images shown have not been retouched.
For entertainment, the home includes satellite TV, Netflix, WiFi, and Apple TV, with a television in each master bedroom and a large 60″ flat-screen TV in the living room.
We also provide thoughtful touches to make your stay as comfortable as possible, including luxury linens, resort-style beach towels, and hair dryers in each master bathroom. Both bathrooms feature spacious walk-in showers, along with Paul Mitchell Tea Tree hair products and Bath & Body Works shower gel and soap.
For an extra touch of comfort, adult guests can enjoy our custom-made Turkish bathrobes embroidered with the CASA MÚSICA DEL CARIBE logo during their stay.
The property has a reliable bilingual management team available to help guests throughout their stay. They can answer questions, handle concerns, and assist as needed.
For arrival, guests may arrange in advance to have cold beverages or a small selection of groceries waiting at the house, for a service fee plus the cost of the items. This service must be arranged directly through the private concierge – not the property management team.
A team member who knows Casa Música del Caribe well will meet guests at the home upon arrival, provide an orientation to the property, answer initial questions, and hand over the keys.
The home also features a fully finished rooftop retreat with built-in seating, a bar, and a custom-designed pergola. It’s an ideal spot to enjoy a drink at sunset, catch the sunrise over the Caribbean, or relax in the island breeze.
From the rooftop, guests can take in sweeping 360-degree views of Isla Mujeres and the surrounding sea—and may even spot dolphins playing offshore.
The bathrooms are designed with comfort and convenience in mind. All toilets are comfort height, including those in both master suites and the main-floor guest bathroom.
Each private master bathroom includes a large walk-in tile and marble shower with both a rainfall showerhead and separate handheld showerhead, a private toilet area, stone sink with marble vanity, makeup mirror, lighted wall mirror, hairdryer, plush spa-style towels, makeup-removal facecloths, and a retractable clothesline for swimsuits or hand-washed items.
The spacious main-floor guest bathroom also features a stone sink, marble vanity, comfort-height toilet, and enough room to change after swimming.
Outside, the poolside shower provides a convenient place to rinse off after the beach or pool while enjoying the tropical setting.
Another special feature is the home’s whole-house water-softening system, so water is treated before entering the house—an amenity that is not common in many Isla Mujeres homes and hotels.
The home offers several upgraded systems that are uncommon on Isla Mujeres, including a high-pressure water system, whole-house water softener, heated pool via heat pump, and commercial-grade hot water tank. Together, these features provide more consistent water pressure, softened water throughout the house, a more comfortable pool temperature, and a reliable supply of hot water for guests.
The private infinity-edge pool is a standout feature of the home, with six whirlpool jets and a custom-designed music note incorporated into the pool floor.
The surrounding outdoor area includes a convenient outdoor shower and a custom cooking station with a stone sink and gas grill, Privacy walls surround the pool, creating a secluded space to relax and enjoy your own Caribbean retreat.
The pool is heated via a heat pump, which is rare on Isla Mujeres. Because heating can be influenced by weather conditions, extended rain, strong winds, cooler temperatures, or limited sunshine can affect the water temperature. Even when it feels cooler than expected, the heated pool is generally warmer than many unheated pools on the island.
The sunroom is a flexible poolside space that can be enjoyed either enclosed or completely opened to the outdoors. With the sliding glass doors closed, it provides a comfortable indoor retreat beside the pool. Open the doors all the way, and the room becomes a seamless extension of the pool deck, blending indoor and outdoor living
The finished rooftop at Casa Música del Caribe offers sweeping 360-degree views of Isla Mujeres, making it a beautiful place to enjoy both sunrise and sunset. On the Caribbean sunrise side, guests can relax beneath the pergola, while the sunset side features built-in seating, a built-in table, and a built-in bar.
Casa Música del Caribe is designed as a distinctive island home with thoughtful extras and amenities not commonly found in other rentals – because this is not an ordinary rental. This is also our island home.
The home features two extra-large master bedrooms and can accommodate up to seven guests. For parties of more than four, there is an additional charge of $15 per person, per night. A high-quality queen-size air bed and twin-size air bed are available and fit comfortably in either the poolside room or one of the master bedrooms. These are full bed-height mattresses designed for comfort rather than camping-style air mattresses. The poolside room is especially popular for sleeping because of its proximity to the pool and the relaxing sound of the Caribbean waves.
